Supporting Mums Who Have Language Needs With Their Pregnancies and Beyond
Join Emma Rose, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Lecturer from Shipley College to learn about the projects which offer English Language support to pregnant families and families with infants.
By the end of the session you will:
- Understand the projects and what they do
- Why and how this can have a lasting impact on families across the district
- Leave with a clearer understanding of the support which is offered and the barriers faced by some mums
The Better Start Bradford Virtual Live Learning Sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the Better Start Bradford programme from our broad range of partners, and apply this learning to your work and the broader ‘Babies, Children and Young People’s Prevention’ agenda.
We welcome you to explore the other topics on offer during May-July 2024 and to book places on as many sessions as you’d like. All sessions are free and held via MS Teams.
These events are designed for practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families, plus anyone who wants to know more about our work in the Bradford district.
