Virtual Live Learning Session: Meaningful Marketing On a Shoestring

Bitesize learning session

For the maternity and early years workforce, volunteers and students

Wednesday 10 July 2024

10.00am - 11.00am

Online via MS Teams

Where do you start when faced with the huge array of marketing and publicity methods and channels out there AND you’re short on time and budget?

In this hour-long session, the Better Start Bradford Communications Team will highlight the importance of:

  • Defining your audience
  • Crafting your message and telling your story
  • Adopting a ‘less is more’ approach

They’ll give you tips on free or low-cost methods, signpost you to resources, and illustrate the session with real examples of their work.

This session will be of particular interest to anyone working in small voluntary sector organisations who have responsibility for marketing, communications and publicity within their role.

The Better Start Bradford Virtual Live Learning Sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the Better Start Bradford programme from our broad range of partners, and apply this learning to your work and the broader ‘Babies, Children and Young People’s Prevention’ agenda.

We welcome you to explore the other topics on offer during May-July 2024 and to book places on as many sessions as you’d like. All sessions are free and held via MS Teams.

These events are designed for practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families, plus anyone who wants to know more about our work in the Bradford district.
