A project to help pregnant women develop their English language skills is being launched in the Better Start Bradford area of Little Horton, Bowling & Barkerend and Bradford Moor.
The search is on to find Bradford’s ‘Community Stars’ working with families with under-4s and pregnant parents.
An innovative community programme supporting families to give children the best possible start in life has commissioned a project that will provide books to families to help develop literacy.
Events will be taking place in Bradford this week organised by Better Start Bradford to mark the first national Infant Mental Health Awareness Week.
On Friday 4th March 2016, Better Start Bradford was visited by The Children’s Commissioner for England, Anne Longfield.
