Virtual Live Learning: Working With Parents to Enable a Home Learning Environment
Bite-size learning session
For the maternity and early years workforce, volunteers and students
Thursday 22 February 2024
1.00pm - 2.30pm
Online via MS Teams
During the session, we will discuss the importance of the home learning environment (HLE) and why partnerships with parents are important for supporting the HLE to provide better outcomes.
From the session, practitioners will take away ideas on:
- How you can build on your partnerships with parents
- How to break down any barriers and work collaboratively with parents
- How to create a positive home learning environment
The Better Start Bradford Virtual Live Learning Sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the Better Start Bradford programme from our broad range of partners, and apply this learning to your work and the broader ‘Babies, Children and Young People’s Prevention’ agenda.
We welcome you to explore the other topics on offer during February 2024 and to book places on as many sessions as you’d like. All sessions are held via MS Teams.
These events are designed for practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families, plus anyone who wants to know more about our work in the Bradford district.
