Woodland Walk
Explore nature and Bradford district's wonderful parks
Families with children aged 0-3
Monday 18 November 2024
9.30am - 10.30am
Cliffe Castle Park, Spring Gardens Lane, Keighley, BD20 6LH (meet on the grass area through the main gates at the museum/park car park)
A wonderful chance for families to explore being out and about in nature, boost your wellbeing and connect with the amazing parks and green spaces across the Bradford district.
This gentle walk will be led by staff from the Early Years Alliance who will guide you on a journey through the trees, taking time to talk about what you’re experiencing through your senses.
There will be stops along the way to make discoveries and share songs and stories, alongside activities using the natural resources that we find.
Being outdoors has so many benefits for young children, from physical wellbeing, to supporting brain development, developing communication and language skills and boosting emotional wellbeing.
Please dress for the weather – come rain or shine – and all children MUST be accompanied by an adult who will remain responsible for them at all times.
