Virtual Live Learning Session: Play - The Reasons Why We Do and Why You Should Too

Virtual Live Learning Session

For workforce and volunteers

Thursday 1 February 2024

1.00pm - 2.30pm

Join our Early Years Facilitator, Charlotte, to explore what play means to different people and how it benefits everyone from birth to adulthood.

By the end of the session you will have:

  • Enhanced your knowledge of how play benefits babies, children, and adults.
  • Gained a better insight into how children play from birth onwards, and explored new ideas on how to enhance children’s play.
  • Received greater insight into how play fits with your current or future roles.

This is an interactive session with opportunities for discussion and sharing ideas.

The Better Start Bradford Virtual Live Learning Sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the Better Start Bradford programme from our broad range of partners, and apply this learning to your work and the broader ‘Babies, Children and Young People’s Prevention’ agenda.

We welcome you to explore the other topics on offer during February 2024 and to book places on as many sessions as you’d like. All sessions are held via MS Teams.

These events are designed for practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families, plus anyone who wants to know more about our work in the Bradford district.

If you have any questions regarding these sessions, please contact [email protected]
