Virtual Live Learning Session: Engaging with Dads and Male Carers

Bite-size learning session

For practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families.

Thursday 7 November 2024

10.00am - 11.30am

Online via MS Teams

Join our Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Team for an informative session on Better Start Bradford’s learning around engaging with dads and male carers.

This session will outline different ways to interact with dads and male carers, some of the potential barriers we may face and the significance of engaging with this audience. We hope to share with you:

  • Different ways to approach dads/male carers
  • Ways of overcoming barriers to engaging with dads/male carers
  • Discuss the purpose of focusing with dads/male carers

This will be an interactive session, with the opportunity to discuss and share ideas.

The Better Start Bradford Virtual Live Learning Sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the Better Start Bradford programme from our broad range of partners, and apply this learning to your work and the broader ‘Babies, Children and Young People’s Prevention’ agenda.

We welcome you to explore the other topics on offer during October to December 2024 and to book places on as many sessions as you’d like. All sessions are held via MS Teams.

These events are designed for practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families, plus anyone who wants to know more about our work in the Bradford district.
