Virtual Live Learning Session: Adversity, Trauma & Resilience: A Workforce Development Project

Bite-size learning session

For practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families.

Thursday 24 October 2024

10.00am - 11.00am

Online via MS Teams

Join Ioanna Filippidi, Adversity, Trauma & Resilience (ATR) Workforce Development Co-Ordinator, for an informative session about Adversity, Trauma and Resilience.

This session we will provide an overview of the ATR project and the work that we do in Bradford.

It will explore:

  • What is adversity and trauma?
  • What is a trauma informed approach?
  • An overview of the Bradford and West Yorkshire ATR strategy and how our work aims to address this.
  • A taster of our ATR workforce training offer and how to find out more information.

The Better Start Bradford Virtual Live Learning Sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the Better Start Bradford programme from our broad range of partners, and apply this learning to your work and the broader ‘Babies, Children and Young People’s Prevention’ agenda.

We welcome you to explore the other topics on offer during October to December 2024 and to book places on as many sessions as you’d like. All sessions are held via MS Teams.

These events are designed for practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families, plus anyone who wants to know more about our work in the Bradford district.
