Virtual Live Learning Session: How Baby Week Bradford 2024 'Playful Starts and Happy Hearts' Put Play Centre-Stage

Bite-size learning session

For practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families.

Thursday 5 December 2024

10.00am - 11.30am

Online via MS Teams

Join our Early Years Specialist, Helen, to explore why we all need to play, what play means to different people and how it benefits everyone from birth to adulthood.

The theme for Baby Week Bradford 2024 ‘Playful Starts and Happy Hearts’, was able to put play centre-stage for the Early Years workforce and for families. This session will:

  • Share some of the highlights of the learning from Baby Week Bradford 2024
  • Explore why play is so important for all our society, children and adults.
  • Discover some ideas about how play can become part of all our lives.

The Better Start Bradford Virtual Live Learning Sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the Better Start Bradford programme from our broad range of partners, and apply this learning to your work and the broader ‘Babies, Children and Young People’s Prevention’ agenda.

We welcome you to explore the other topics on offer during October to December 2024 and to book places on as many sessions as you’d like. All sessions are held via MS Teams.

These events are designed for practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families, plus anyone who wants to know more about our work in the Bradford district.
