Start Your Volunteering Story...

Volunteer fair

For anyone interested in volunteering

Tuesday 13 June 2023

10.00am - 12.00pm

Mayfield Centre, Broadway Avenue, BD5 9NP

As a volunteer you can make a real difference to other people’s lives, while also:

  • Building new skills and confidence

  • Gaining experience that could help you into employment or a new career

  • Meeting new people and feeling connected

  • Giving you purpose

There are a wide range of rewarding volunteering roles available within the Better Start Bradford programme, all aimed at supporting expectant families and families with young children.

Explore our roles here

The first and best step is to come along to the Mayfield Centre on Tuesday 13 June 2023 from 10.00am-12.00pm!

  • Find out details of the different roles available
  • Hear from and chat with friendly people from the organisations below about how volunteering really does change lives
  • Receive a free ‘summer surprise’ goody bag, and enjoy a cuppa (or two!)

Book a place to come along, hear a short presentation, and meet staff and volunteers from:

From 10.00am – refreshments and pastries available, and a chance to explore the stalls

From 10.30am – short presentations about the roles available

From 11.00am – a chance to explore stalls and chat informally with staff and volunteers

We look forward to seeing you there!
