Join Better Place for a fun, hands-on session all about unlocking learning through indoor and outdoor play!

Join play specialist, author, keynote speaker and award winning trainer Ben Kingston-Hughes to explore the Power of Play and how the early playful experiences create the foundations for every other developmental process throughout the child’s life

Play is really important for children. It is one of the most main ways in which children grow their brains. Through indoor and outdoor play, children learn about the world, build healthy minds and bodies, and develop skills that support lifelong wellbeing.

Through this unique and engaging session, parents will gain:

About Better Place

This session has been brought to you thanks to Better Place. Better Place has been identifying and overseeing improvements to local parks and outdoor spaces since 2017 with the aim of providing a healthier and happier environment for expectant parents, babies, young children and families. The project is also finding ways to reduce exposure to harmful traffic fumes for pregnant women and small children.

The Better Place project is a Better Start Bradford project that is being delivered in collaboration with Bradford Council, Bradford Trident, Groundwork UK, Public Health, voluntary and community sector groups and local people. This project is funded through the National Lottery Community Fund.
