The Perinatal Support Service, delivered by Family Action, is offering an online monthly 45 minute information session on Zoom aimed at professionals and prospective volunteers.
Would you like to know more about Bradford Perinatal Support Service?
You may have questions about what they do, how they do it, and how they support pregnant women and mothers with babies under one year of age.
You may be interested in volunteering for their service and want to know more about the role. Or perhaps you would like support, or want to request support for someone else, and would like to know how to make a referral.
Find out more about what they do directly from one of their Perinatal Support Coordinators. They welcome any questions you may have about how you can work together to support new mums or mums-to-be who may be struggling with such issues as:
- Low mood
- Anxiety
- Isolation
- Depression
They will talk about the support they offer such as befriending support and group work.
The session includes how to make a referral to the service as well as information relating to the volunteering role.
All sessions are delivered on Zoom.
If you would like to attend please contact Sehrish Hussain on 07970 994908 or email [email protected] to book a place, and the Zoom link will be sent to you.
Please note, this event is not organised by Better Start Bradford. If you have any questions about the event – or would like to check it is still running before attending – please contact the organiser directly.
