Infant Mental Health Awareness Training

A practical interactive training day

Health visitors, midwifes, family hub staff and Better Start project staff

Thursday 25 January 2024

9.00am - 4.30pm

Windhill Community Centre, Church Street, Windhill, BD18 2NR

This one-day free training course provides information on infant neurodevelopment, attachment theory and promoting responsiveness and sensitivity in parents. Delivered by highly specialist clinicians, our training aims to support practitioners in their work with families to help give babies the best possible start in life.

The course provides both a theoretical knowledge base and space for you to apply this in practice.

Post-training support: training participants can attend Infant Mental Health in Action training and consultation events: reflective practice groups, ongoing consultation and drop-in sessions.

The Little Minds Matter project is commissioned to offer the training to Health Visitors, Midwives, Family Hub staff and Better Start Project Staff as a priority. We also offer the training to anyone who works in Bradford with parents and / or infants. If you are not sure if you meet this criterion then please contact us on 01274 251298 to discuss.

Please ensure you have your manager’s approval before booking on to this course. Microsoft Teams link to training and pre-course information/reading will be sent to individuals via the email address used to register for the course 7-10 days before the training date.
