Home-Start Bradford District Volunteer Preparation Course

Then volunteering with Home-Start Bradford District could be the start of a fabulous new journey for you in 2025.

The volunteer preparation course starts on Thursday 1 May 2025 and will run for seven weeks on Thursdays as follows:

📍 The Thornbury Centre, 79 Leeds Old Rd, Bradford, BD3 8JX

💬 Values & attitudes; communication
💬 Supporting parents & meeting the needs of children
💬Confidentiality and diary sheets
💬 Safeguarding children
💬 Bringing the course to a close & expenses

A catch-up session will be available for any missed modules.

Each volunteer will need to have completed an application form (including providing contact details to obtain two references) had an interview and provided documents for a DBS check.
