Virtual Live Learning Session: Family Hubs and Start for Life

Bite-size learning session

For the maternity and early years workforce, volunteers and students

Thursday 22 February 2024

10.00am - 11.30am

Online via MS Teams

Join Laura, Family Hubs and Start for Life Development Officer, to find out about the Family Hubs and Start for Life programme, which focusses on the first critical 1,001 days in a child’s life. Information will be shared regarding the structure of the programme, including the vision and how services are more accessible to families across the Bradford district.

By the end of the session you will have:

  • A deeper understanding of services available district wide.
  • How to refer families into services commissioned within the programme.
  • Increased confidence to sign post families to appropriate support.

The Better Start Bradford Virtual Live Learning Sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the Better Start Bradford programme from our broad range of partners, and apply this learning to your work and the broader ‘Babies, Children and Young People’s Prevention’ agenda.

We welcome you to explore the other topics on offer during February 2024 and to book places on as many sessions as you’d like. All sessions are held via MS Teams.

These events are designed for practitioners and students in public, voluntary, education, arts and any other organisations who work with and support families, plus anyone who wants to know more about our work in the Bradford district.

If you have any questions regarding these sessions, please contact [email protected]
