9.30am - 2.30pm
Bradford Mercure Bankfield Hotel, Bradford Road, Bingley, BD16 1TU
Join Dr Amir Khan and maternity, health and early years colleagues from across the Bradford district to explore why good nutrition is vital during pregnancy and the earliest years of life, at this free shared learning event for Baby Week Bradford 2023.
Nutrition and early years specialists will share how local and national evidence is informing best practice, and how this can impact your own work.
There will be opportunities to ask questions, network, and celebrate the important role you play in supporting expectant families and families with young children, not to mention a hearty, nourishing lunch to enjoy before you leave.
Dr Amir Khan says:
“As a proud Bradfordian and GP serving within the Bradford district, I’m over the moon to play my part in Baby Week Bradford 2023 by joining other members of the workforce at the 1001 Days of Nutrition conference as host. Good nutrition and physical activity are key for everyone, but starting healthy habits in pregnancy and early childhood can make a world of difference for future health and wellbeing. The workforce has a huge part to play in supporting families on this journey. I look forward to welcoming you on Tuesday 14 November to get Baby Week Bradford 2023 off to a flying start!”
