Our Home-Start Better Start project is looking for new volunteers.
If you would like to become a home-visiting volunteer supporting families in the Better Start Bradford area, this is your chance!

The online volunteer preparation course starts on Wednesday 27 January 2021 and will run from 9:30am-2:30pm.
The schedule is:
Wednesday 27 January – Coffee morning
Wednesday 3 February – Welcome, Introduction and role
Wednesday 10 February – Values & attitudes; Communication
Wednesday 17 February – School half term break
Wednesday 24 February – Supporting parents & meeting the needs of children
Wednesday 3 March – Confidentiality and diary sheets
Wednesday 10 March – Safeguarding children
Wednesday 17 March – Bringing the course to a close and expenses
Wednesday 24 March – Catch up session

Each volunteer will need to have completed an application form (including providing contact details to obtain two references) had an interview and provided documents for a DBS check.
The sessions can be easily accessed using a phone or laptop and an invitation will be sent by email weekly.
