We’ll consider the impact of early adversity with George Hosking, OBE; founder of the WAVE Trust. We’ll then explore an evidence-based intervention which adopts a preventative approach to health visiting with distinguished professor, Lynn Kemp, from the University of Western Sydney. Finally, we’ll look to the aspiration of a shared health record, exploring the benefits this could bring, plus insight on how we’re working towards this goal in Bradford with Josie Dickerson from Born in Bradford.
Our programme of shared learning events and knowledge cafes provide ongoing networking and informal learning opportunities for the Better Start Bradford workforce. These opportunities are open to all those working with expectant families or families with children aged 0-3, community leaders and families wanting to learn more.
