A free, online session for pregnant women in the Bradford district to learn more about interventions and assisted births
Thu 21 Jan 2021
6.00-7.30pm
Online via Zoom
Pregnant women/expectant parents
Although birth is safe, it is still largely unpredictable.
This special session offers you evidence-based information on induction of labour, forceps, vacuum and caesarean section, both planned and emergency, so that you can be informed and updated, in order to make the best possible decisions and choices for you and your baby.
Around 10% of women will experience some assistance at their birth – the current rate for caesarean section is 25-30% and the rate of induction is soaring, so there is a good chance one of these interventions will affect you.
There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions too.
To book, please e-mail [email protected] stating that you’d like to attend the ‘Interventions and Assisted Births’ class on 21 January with:
