We're delighted to have teamed up with the Telegraph and Argus and People Can for a fourth year to offer our special 'Outstanding Contribution to Early Years' award as part of the annual Community Stars awards! Nominations are now open and you have until Friday 4 October 2019 to submit your entry.
The early years category recognises volunteers who go the extra mile working with expectant families or families with children under four in the Better Start Bradford area of Bowling and Barkerend, Bradford Moor and Little Horton. It is for a person or group that:
A shortlist will be announced in November for public voting, with awards presented to the winners at a special ceremony at the Bradford Hotel on Thursday 5 December 2019.
- Supports expectant families or families with children under four (see details of previous winners below for examples)
- Encourages others to get involved in supporting expectant families or families with children under four
- Demonstrates enthusiasm, innovation, passion and a can-do attitude
- Goes the extra mile for their community
