Baby Week Bradford is back for its 8th year!

The fabulous Baby Week Bradford is back for the 8th year and this time it’s all about YOU, with Caring for You…Caring for Baby.
There will be lots of fun opportunities, both indoors and outdoors, right across the Bradford district for expectant families, families with children aged 0-3, and the maternity and early years workforce. Together they will explore why self-care is so important for babies’ development and health, and uncover the benefits for all of us by caring a little more about ourselves!
A wide range of family events are taking place every day during the week, including two warm-up events:
- Tuesday 11 November 2025, 11.00am-2.00pm – Darley Street Market, Bradford, BD1 3HH There will be: stalls with games, activities and baby services, giant interactive jigsaw, baby raving and the Baby Week Wiggle with BoomChikkaBoom, Holding Time exhibition and breastfeeding support, a tour of the new Bevan Family Hub satellite site, performances throughout, goodies to take away, and a free hot drink.
- Thursday 13 November 2025, 9.30am-12.30pm – Airedale Shopping Centre – Hanover Street, Keighley, BD21 3QQ There will be: the Baby Week Wiggle with BoomChikkaBoom, story time with Bradford Libraries, a special performance of ‘Grateful’, created by Bradford 2025, free refreshments including a warm drink. Children will be able to meet ‘Bluey’ and ‘Stitch’ characters. Information stalls will cover a range of family wellbeing and parenting support, including Family Hubs, Start for Life, FYI website, Dad Matters, Family Action (perinatal mental health peer support), Baby Steps, KidsTime, Health Visiting, Living Well, Maternity Circles, Maternity Voices, Airedale midwives and infant feeding, and more.

- Various play events, maternity circles, baby sessions, story times and baby ballet.
- Toddler Take Over – Bolling Hall Museum, 14 November 2025 – no need to book – just drop in anytime between 10.30am and 1.30pm – It’s time for toddlers to take charge of the museum for a day! Inspired by real museum roles, from curating and cleaning to storytelling and café service, Bolling Hall invites babies, toddlers and their grown-ups to explore activity stations across the museum. Step into a world of roleplay, discovery, and imagination. Perfect for under-5s and their families. This free event doesn’t require booking – just drop in and join the fun!
- TFD 50 Things Take Over – TFD Centre, Holme Wood, BD4 0BH, 18 November 2025 – no need to book – just drop in anytime between 9.30am and 11.30am). Join 50 Things for a fun-filled morning during Bradford Baby Week, featuring 50 Things to Do Before You’re Five activities! Plus, the first 100 kids will receive a complimentary toy!
There’s also lots of workforce events, including:
Monday 17 November 2025 9.45am-1.00pm, Bradford Arts Centre – This 50 Things To Do Conference will shine a spotlight on the vital role of partnerships with parents in supporting children’s development. Through research-led insights, innovative approaches, and a line-up of inspiring guest speakers, practical strategies will be explored to strengthen family engagement and enhance outcomes for children. All early years settings that attend will receive a free ‘Parents Learning Resource Bag’!
- Healthy Parent, Healthy Baby: The National Baby Week Bradford Conference 2025 – Thursday 20 November 2025, 9.00am – 4.00pm, Met Hotel, Leeds – The Healthy Parent, Healthy Baby national conference, hosted by Baby Week Charity, is a full-day event bringing together professionals, community leaders, and families to share ideas and initiatives supporting early childhood and parental wellbeing and health. It will highlight the importance of investing in the early years of life and provides a collaborative platform for exploring challenges, innovations, and best practices across sectors.
