What is Better Start Brushing?
Bradford has the highest rates of childhood tooth decay in Yorkshire, with more than 1 in 3 five-year old children having evidence of decayed or filled teeth.
Better Start Brushing has helped families in the Better Start Bradford area to develop good oral health habits from the moment baby's first tooth appears. Below, you can find top tips and advice from oral health experts, plus our sugar surprise game.
We've pulled together top tips from experts, including the Oral Health Foundation which runs Smile Month, and HABIT (Health visitors delivering Advice in Britain on Infant Toothbrushing).
