When babies and young children play, they’re learning so much about themselves, others, and the world around them. Their brain is firing in all directions, building:

Not only that, it gets them active and it’s lots and LOTS of fun!
From 14-20 November 2024 we invited you to make room for play.
There were lots of opportunities to play indoors and outdoors, right across the Bradford district for expectant families, families with children aged 0-3, and the maternity and early years workforce. Together (over 1750 of us!) we explored why play is so important for babies’ development and health, and uncovered the benefits to all of us of living more playfully.
